Telemedicine

Seeing your Preferred Health Solution(PHS) physician is now even more convenient! With PHS Telemedicine, you can visit with a PHS physician directly through your smartphone, tablet, or computer.  

Call (866) 757-7333 between 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  Please have your insurance card on hand when you call.In your virtual visit, the physician will: Review your medical history, including allergies and medications you are taking,Conduct a virtual exam, and provide diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Have any prescription(s) electronically transmitted to your pharmacy. Opioids may not be prescribed during a Telemedicine visit. After your visit, your physician will send you a secure e-mail with patient care instructions, a summary of the visit, referral instructions, and other visit documents.

Types of conditions appropriate for Telemedicine visits include: 

Headache & Body Aches

 Fever & Nasal Congestion

Ear Pain 

Stuffy Nose, Sore Throat, Cough Chest Congestion
Urinary Issues
Rashes, Itching, Skin Infection
Back Pain, Neck Pain, Other Body Pain (Excluding Chest Pain)

Achy joints
Vomiting, Diarrhea, Stomach Cramps, Food Poisoning
Prescription Refills, when appropriate and originally prescribed at PHS.  Opioids may not be prescribed during Telemedicine visits.

Not all conditions can be treated safely with Telemedicine visits. If your physician determines that your condition requires in-person evaluation and care, he or she will recommend a face-to-face visit with PHS doctor, or the nearest hospital Emergency Room.
